“Alarm bells start ringing”: Fears for Ziggy’s pregnancy on Home and Away

A joyous, healthy pregnancy is all that Dean and Ziggy want. But they’re not getting that in Home And Away thus far.
The pair is scared this week when Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) unintentionally falls down the stairs at Salt. However, they are unaware as they rush to the hospital that their worries are not limited to her hazardous pregnancy.
Doctor Bree (Juliet Godwin) assumes command when they get to Emergency and effectively calms a terrified Ziggy while conducting some tests.

Meanwhile, Dean (Patrick O’Connor) struggles to control his excessive guarding. This is Ziggy’s second fall that has put her and the child in danger. Why can’t she relax for a change? A wary Bree doesn’t like what she’s hearing as he begs her to be more cautious.
According to Juliet, “Dean’s tone is triggering for Bree and alarm bells start ringing.”

Bree is acutely conscious of Dean’s imposing demeanour and Ziggy’s continuous apologies because of everything she has been through with her abusive husband Jacob (Alex Williams).
Ziggy’s thigh has a bruise, and Bree thinks the expectant mother is in danger after spotting the mark. She makes the choice to keep her in the hospital overnight and to call the police to report Dean for domestic abuse.
Bree’s mental perception that she is being abused is confirmed when she notices the bruise on Ziggy’s thigh, according to Juliet.
Bree, who “has far too frequently had to make excuses for her own ailments, won’t sit back and watch someone else suffer in silence,” says, “has far too many injuries of her own to justify.”
Ziggy is shocked and perplexed when police officer Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) shows up for the interview.
The situation worsens when Cash takes Dean back to the station for questioning and forbids him from getting close to Ziggy.
Dean isn’t permitted to see Ziggy until the investigation is finished. He is heartbroken that he cannot be by her side.

When Mackenzie (Emily Weir) learns what happened, she worries about where her half-brother will sleep and checks in on him. However, Dean is only concerned with Ziggy and her safety, so he asks Mackenzie to watch over her while he is away.
Bree is shocked to learn she made a mistake in her assessment of Dean because Dean doesn’t realise Bree can hear every word.
Bree is devastated after she realises her error, according to Juliet.
She acknowledges that Dean isn’t like Jacob. She is motivated by this to contact the police to discuss her own problem. ”
How will Bree attempt to make things right when Ziggy’s pregnancy is in jeopardy and the domestic violence investigation is still active?
