Coronation Street spoilers: Stu Carpenter devastated after losing custody of Eliza

Stu Carpenter, a resident of Coronation Street, may have cleared his name, but things are about to get worse when he learns that his granddaughter Eliza is being taken care of.

Following Wednesday night’s episode of Coronation Street, viewers were relieved to learn that Stu Carpenter (played by Bill Fellows) did not actually kill Charlie. ITV viewers were shocked to learn that Stu Woodrow’s daughter Bridget (Beth Vyse) was the real killer after waiting weeks for the killer to be revealed. Stu’s ability to clear his name at the expense of his daughter’s fate made it a bittersweet moment for him.

“Bridget broke down in tears as Stu gushed, “And me her. Eliza loves you.

“She reminds me a lot of you. She’s so witty and clever. In all honesty, seeing her is like traveling through time.

Please let me know if there is anything you can do or say to improve the situation.

Later, when things reached a crisis point, Bridget was compelled to reveal the true cause of her unhappiness.

Bridget said, “There’s no getting around it, and there’s no use lying to Eliza; she can see right through it.

Bridget inquired, “You said prison was hard,” to which Stu responded, “Don’t let your imagination run away with you.

For the most part, I remained silent to avoid the violence. Accepting my fate was the hardest thing to do.

“At first, I kept telling myself that they had made a serious error and would release me.

The desire to be served was clung to for a very long time, and when it finally vanished, anger replaced it.

“I was furious with the perpetrator for being so heartless in withholding their identity,” the victim said.
Bridget sobbed as Stu comforted her, saying, “I know you were only doing what your mom told you. It’s not your fault.”

Bridget finally said, “It was me. I murdered Charlie.
The confession left Stu in shock, but things are only going to get worse when he runs the risk of having his granddaughter taken away.

Official soap opera spoilers reveal that when Stu learns Lucy and Bridget have both been accused of murder, he tries to hide his fear.

Bridget calls Stu from behind bars and informs him that Lucy and she have confessed to the murder, and she would like him to look after Eliza on her behalf.

However, things don’t go as planned because social worker Felicity (Vanya Taylor) calls at No. 6 and informs Stu and Yasmeen that Eliza needs to be taken into care until his conviction is formally overturned.

The information that Stu might have permanently lost his granddaughter devastated him.
