Here are some EastEnders spoilers.
In preparation for the arrival of its first drag queen, EastEnders is preparing to transform Albert Square into a catwalk.
In the BBC soap opera, Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison), a new inhabitant who will also go by the drag name Tara Misu, has been introduced.
Morrison stands as Tara in a first-look picture while wearing an exquisite teal gown, fishnets, and a pearl clutch in front of the famous Albert Square sign.

The persona of Morrison Avery, the estranged brother of Mitch (Roger Griffiths), has a younger son named Felix (Omar Lye-Fook).
His older half-brother Finlay (Ashley Byam), who also arrives on the Square with the newcomer, is sure to cause trouble in Walford this summer.
As part of his role in EastEnders, Morrison commented, “I am lucky to have the opportunity to step into the heels of the feisty Tara Misu.”
“It’s an honour to speak for the LGBTQIA+ community and to show Walford’s locals as well as spectators at home the creative art of drag.”
The soap opera also aired Tanya Franks’ last scenes as Rainie Highway this week.
Franks’ most recent four-year run as Rainie, a role she has occasionally played since 2007, comes to an end with the leaving plot.
Following the dissolution of her marriage to Stuart, Rainie left Walford on June 29. (Ricky Champ).
Rainie is just one of many characters leaving the serial, as Danielle Harold, who played Lola, will also be leaving her role in a tragic new tale later this year, according to a BBC announcement. Along with Dayle Hudson (Peter Beale), Barbara Smith (Dana Monroe), and Kelsey Calladine-Smith, Ricky Champ’s Stuart will also be leaving the soap opera (Jada Lennox).
