Home and Away Gabe star’s huge Hollywood role and second career away from Channel 5 soap

Akos Armont, who recently joined the cast of Home and Away as Gabe Miller, has a second career in addition to his work on the Channel 5 soap opera.

Fans of the Australian serial opera Home and Away first met Akos Armont’s character, Gabe Miller, last week.

The brunette beauty’s ex-fiance, Gabe, who was introduced as Emily Weir’s Mackenzie Booth, made it apparent that he wanted to get back together with her.

When Mac saw her ex sitting in Salt, she was astounded and vowed never to speak to him again.

To help get rid of the newcomer, Mac called her brother Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor), who she disclosed was two months away from getting married before she arrived in Summer Bay.

But, when Gabe cut things off between them and merely left behind a message to explain himself, Mac was shocked and devastated.

This week, Mac is startled to learn that Gabriel called off their engagement because Gabe was promised £50,000 to keep away from her by her evil father, Rick Booth (Mark Lee).

Mac must determine whether she is willing to give Gabriel another chance after he presents her with a check for £50,000 as proof of his repentance.

Akos, 30, starred in a significant Hollywood blockbuster before appearing in the Channel 5 soap opera.

In the 2017 film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales starring Johnny Depp and Javier Bardem, he played a British soldier.

The Australian drama series After the Verdict, consisting of six episodes, featured the Home and Away actor as Angus Lang in 2022.

Akos is not only an actor but also Aurora Pictures’ managing director, based in Sydney.

Eric “the Eel” Moussambani Malonga, an Olympic champion swimmer from Equatorial Guinea, and Aurora films announced their partnership earlier this year.

The life rights to the athlete’s narrative have been acquired by Aurora Pictures, who will assist in bringing the inspiring tale of the underdog hero to the big screen.
