On Home and Away, Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) is saddened at the prospect of never seeing her long-lost daughter, Heather Fraser (guest actress Sofia Nolan) (1:45pm – see our TV Guide for listings).
After a disagreement with Marilyn’s friend Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou), who admonished her to quit playing twisted mind games and acting badly, Heather left Summer Bay.
The fallout between Marilyn and Leah is investigated by friends including Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) and his daughter, Roo (Georgie Parker), Marilyn exits the diner abruptly without providing any further explanation after receiving an unexpected text message.
Marilyn is shocked to see Heather again when she is at the beach.
Heather had made the decision to come back and atone for her earlier bad behaviour, which includes cutting the tyres of John Palmer, Marilyn’s ex-husband (Shane Withington).
Heather seems to be on a reconciliation mission with Marilyn and her pals, and she has an SURPRISE plan on how to do it.
Later that day, Heather drives Marilyn to a stunning rural location, which she later discloses to be her old boarding school.
HOWEVER, what is Heather preparing?
Marilyn’s pals are becoming frustrated because they are still no closer to understanding the cause of her most recent bizarre behaviour.
Leah must be careful not to say too much, as doing so might require disclosing Heather and Marilyn’s relationship.
But when they each get a digital invitation to an enigmatic breakfast with Marilyn, Alf, Roo, Leah, and Irene are in for a surprise!
They are all perplexed. WHAT is the event?
The buddies drive out to the rural home where Marilyn earlier went because they want to encourage her and also because they need some clarification.
But what precisely are Alf, Roo, Leah, and Irene stepping into in the absence of Heather’s return?
