Home and Away stars and real-life couple Sophie Dillman and Paddy O’Connor plan ‘to elope in Las Vegas’ after dating since 2019

They started dating in 2019 after meeting on the set of Home and Away and fell in love.

And soap opera actors Paddy O’Connor, 30, and Sophie Dillman, 29, are thinking about getting married in Las Vegas.

The couple said that their nuptials would shortly take place, but their expectations are divergent.

“I recently attended a few girlfriend weddings, and watching them deal with the stress of preparing for their special days… Maybe we’ll just run away to Vegas and be married in an Elvis drive-through, Sophie suggested.

Paddy, though, said that he was concerned about the consequences of an elopement.

He declared, “I don’t think our families will ever forgive us.

Since their adolescent years, which were spent in Queensland, Sophie and Paddy have known one another.

Before their on-screen romance transitioned into a real-life romance, they later restored their friendship on the set of Home and Away.

On the programme, their characters Ziggy and Dean will have children, and the actors have shown interest in having children themselves in the future.

Paddy stated, “I really hope Dean and Ziggy have a girl. It would be hilarious to watch Dean try to deal with that.”

We’ve been coming home and talking about what we’d do in that position as Dean and Ziggy have been going through that process, talking about baby names, coping with morning sickness, and dealing with health difficulties,’ Sophie continued.

Patrick and Sophie’s first date was not as romantic as Sophie had planned, as she recently confessed.

When they went to eat at Newtown burger joint Mary’s, Sophie was in agonising pain after being rushed to the hospital owing to an endometriosis flare-up.

She was so miserable at one point that she had to sit on the sidewalk.

I declared, “I must sit down immediately.” Sophie recalled that “Patrick” said, “Sophie, we’re on King Street, you can’t sit down!”

I called my mother while I was sitting in a laneway and said, “Mum, I have to get to the hospital, it’s so horrible, I don’t have enough painkillers.”

He had never seen anything like that before, the poor guy, and my sister was also offering me advice.

She claimed that even after Patrick “turned white,” he still made every effort to support her, which raised a big red flag.
