Home and Away’s Justin Morgan unfairly blamed for road horror

His conscience is troubled by the Summer Bay catastrophe.

Justin Morgan, who stars in Home and Away, is inconsolable over a horrific catastrophe that wasn’t his fault.

The major cliffhanger from the day of Tane Parata and Felicity Newman’s wedding has been resolved in the Summer Bay soap opera, which has returned to Australian television screens this week.

Eden Fowler was unintentionally transporting Felicity to the event in a damaged vehicle when the show was abruptly taken off the air in Australia in November.

As a heartwarming surprise, Felicity’s brother Cash had given her their late father’s old truck, thinking it would make the ideal wedding vehicle.

Unfortunately, on the night of the event, a criminal accomplice working for biker gang member Tex Wheeler damaged the brakes on the car. Cash was the target of the deadly group, who assumed he was the one behind the wheel of Felicity.

Eden and Felicity were on a collision course with Justin and his companion Leah Patterson in the road in this week’s return scenes.

Due to Eden’s inability to brake, a severe collision occurred that put lives in danger.

While Felicity, Leah, and Justin all managed to survive the incident relatively undamaged, Eden’s future was cast into doubt when medical professionals suggested that she might have sustained a lifelong brain injury and might never regain consciousness.

Cash was quick to blame Justin for the road accident, pointing out that he’d worked on the ute at the garage in preparation for the wedding, as tempers flared at the hospital.

Justin was puzzled as to how things could have gone so wrong, but he was powerless to defend himself as he questioned his own level of professional expertise.

Later, Justin revealed to Theo Poulos, Leah’s nephew: “The brakes on the ute failed. Because the brakes on the car I fixed failed, all of these folks are injured. I’m to blame.”

Theo counselled Justin to wait for the authorities to conduct their investigation before drawing any judgements, saying: “Stop beating yourself up and let them do their job. You will address any queries they may have.”

Will the police discover that the brakes were manipulated, or will Justin still be held responsible?

The crash’s perpetrators vowed to regroup and switch to a mysterious “Plan B” after missing their intended target because nobody knew that Tex’s gang still posed a sinister threat.

After Cash fatally shot their leader Marty last year in self-defense, the gang sought to exact revenge on him. Is Cash in danger right now?

In March, Channel 5 will air these scenes for Home and Away viewers in the UK.
