Actress Michelle Collins from EastEnders is reportedly getting ready to wed her toyboy lover at a ceremony in north London the following week.
Michelle, 60, and Mike Davidson, who is 22 years younger, are reportedly planning to exchange vows at their wedding on Wednesday.
According to reports, the Cindy Beale actress said to her friends that “life is too short” and that she wants all of her friends to take part in the festivities.
She allegedly said: “We know it’s late notice, but we’ve been together for ten years, so what’s the point in waiting?” according to The Sun.
We believed that life was too short and that we should celebrate by seeing all of our friends.
Guests will be welcomed at the reception at a split-level private bar in North London following the ceremony, according to the outlet.
It claims the location has a heated roof terrace, as well as a pub with a Venetian chandelier.
After being set up by her niece in 2012, Michelle and 38-year-old fashion boss Mike fell in love and got engaged in April while on vacation in Los Angeles.
With her ex-husband Fabrizio Tassalini, who passed away from cancer in 2014, she had daughter Maia-Rose, now 22.
“I never thought it would happen, but after ten years I thought it was time,” Michelle remarked at the time.
Before appearing in Corrie as Stella Price, actress Michelle played Cindy Beale in EastEnders.
She has previously taken offence to being referred to as a “cougar” because of the age gap between her and her partner.
She once remarked to the Daily Star, “Surely I’m not still your toyboy, are I? He turned to me the other day.
“I joke about it now, but it irritates me. I also detest the word “cougar.” It drives me crazy. I think it’s so humiliating.
“A cougar is a predator that prowls the area in search of young flesh. I’m not at all like that.
